It's been a weekend of glorious weather here.  Walking the dog was a pleasure rather than the chore it can sometimes be during the long, grey months of winter.  There was still a chill in the air, but the sunshine took my mind off it.

The whippet seemed pretty happy to be out without her coat.

The trees are still bare

but there are signs that spring is coming.

The weather forecast tells me to look forward to 'wintry showers' this week but at least I've had a little taste of spring to keep me going.
