Mary de B

Mince pie and whiskey!? What happened to cookies and milk? Hoo-ee.

Sounds like my kind of Christmas, though we have brandy, snowballs, v&t and wine as well as the mulled wine. Must get a little tree this year to compensate for the time I forgot the crackers.

We do the mince pie and whisky for santa, and a carrot for the reindeer. In the morning Santa always leaves a whisp of his beard on the chimney(looks like cotton wool to me!) and the reindeer always leaves the end of his carrot!

A girl after my own heart, christmas pud with both brandy butter and cream (I also pour on custard too just to really go for calorie overload) We do the mince pie and carrot thing too even though the boys are in their teens. One year when they were small, Neil made glitter footprints from the fireplace and up the stairs to their rooms...seemed like a good idea at the time and the boys faces were a picture, but I was hoovering glitter up until at least June!
