The socks look great and I'd have never have guessed how they were made. They're a great way to use up leftovers but all the ends kind of frighten me off. Plus my socks are usually so short the leftovers can practically make another pair!

Sorry to hear your news. Hope knitting can give you some comfort right now. Life eh, always full of surprises or changes when we least expect it.
