So, I can show you what my practice foundation piecing was in aid of now.
This is the top for my Brit Quilt Swap 3 mini quilt. I used this pattern from Twiddletails and did one of each of the blocks. Having made this size, I'm well impressed with anyone who takes the time to do the whole thing - that would truely be a labour of love.
The triangles are done in Oakshott cottons, taken from a Sunrise Fat 8ths pack, and the background is a linen/cotton mix from Seamstar. I've picked a backing fabric and have an idea of how I want to quilt it, so hopefully that will get done this weekend.
I've been playing around with the rest of the Oakshott fat 8ths and some Liberty prints.
Oh my, your mini is absolutely fantastic.
Great work.
I am really enjoying paper piecing at the moment but have only made ickle blocks so far. Bit scared of anything big.
I love your Liberty bits too.
